The CHAT Calendar Troll !!!!

He’s wonderful, he’s stupendous, he has the ability to apply ANY ^upbeat, positively positive, OVER-stated adjective to his wonderful self !!  After all he is…. THE TROLL !

The Troll will be in charge of saying “conflicting date”, “no”, “wrong date”, “gimme more information”, “inappropriate activity” or simply “bad idea” to all your CHAT & CHAT/Public events for the coming….period of time!  He is taking over the exciting task of doing these things from Mrs. Kaye Seelye (who has been a VERY kind and reliable lady for three years!) as of next Wednesday (01June2011).  Many thanks and ‘Troll treats’ to Mrs. Seelye.

Important Note:

Please pay close attention to the EMAIL ADDRESS you received in your email notice.  It is the correct address to send things to the Troll.  He asks that you not send them to Mrs. Seelye (CHAT2010 at theotherplace.com) or the ‘other guy’ (Chaplain.Storrs at anotherplace.com ), for the Chaplain is prone to getting things WRONG, blending event information or just shredding the requests without reading them.

Advanced Warning !

The Troll will do everything in his [vast] ability to get things right; however, he does ask for your understanding when he has a senior-like ‘troll moment’ or his bridge-troll duties overwhelm him.  The CHAT rules for events will be revisited by the Troll along with ‘the other’ grups (that’s StarTrekese for ‘grown-ups’) THEN they will be reposted.

Finally (at least for now), THE TROLL is rarely seen in public.  After all, he IS responsible for the CHAT Calendar and we all know how important that daunting task is.  (Plus, he prefers the lonely darkness of a computer server room or bridge-overpasses to large gatherings of….dare it be said….teenagers ! <-gasp-> )  SO…if Chaplain Storrs happens to be at an event and a calendar item needs to be discussed, THE TROLL has authorized him to act as intermediary.  Just don’t blame Mr. Storrs for anything you are upset with THE TROLL about.

THE TROLL is looking forward to saying “bad idea” during his tenure as the CHAT CALENDAR COORDINATOR.
